A new episode gives fans a glimpse of Jason on a crowded Vice City beach—and shows how a bag of dog poo can become part of a fight.
GTA VI fans have been waiting for more gameplay footage, but few probably expected to find it in an episode of South Park.
The latest episode, titled “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” features a short look at Rockstar’s upcoming game. Among the scenes shown is an encounter on a busy Vice City beach that ends with Jason using a bag of dog poo against another person.
It is a brief and suitably outrageous moment for both South Park and Grand Theft Auto, giving fans another glimpse of the kinds of interactions possible in Leonida.
What happens in the GTA VI clip?
During the episode, several South Park characters are shown a preview of GTA VI on a television.
The footage includes Jason and Lucia on a crowded beach. A dog relieves itself, and its owner picks up the mess in a bag. Jason then throws something at the owner before picking up the bag and hitting him with it.
It is not the type of gameplay reveal players might have expected so close to launch, but the scene fits the crude humour that both South Park and the Grand Theft Auto series are known for.
The clip also gives fans another look at the beach itself, with pedestrians filling the area as the encounter unfolds.
Is the footage really from GTA VI?
Several gaming outlets have identified the sequence as genuine GTA VI footage. Insider Gaming reports that Rockstar is thanked in the episode’s credits, while other coverage says the credits identify the footage as having been supplied by Rockstar Games.
That gives the appearance a stronger basis than an unverified video shared online. The scene still only shows a brief encounter, so it does not establish exactly how often players will find these opportunities or every way the interaction will work in the finished game.
More chaos in Leonida
The dog poo encounter follows another look at GTA VI through Edge magazine’s recent feature, which included new screenshots and a gameplay demonstration at Rockstar’s Edinburgh headquarters.
That preview described a world where pedestrians can react differently to the player’s behaviour. Someone carrying a visible weapon may alarm people nearby, while a robbery victim or shopper might decide to fight back rather than run away.
The South Park scene offers a much sillier example of the interactions players may encounter. It also raises a question: how many seemingly ordinary objects in Leonida could become part of an argument or an improvised fight?
For now, fans will have to wait until release to see how widely that kind of interaction applies.
GTA VI has become a running joke in South Park
The game’s appearance is not the first time South Park has referenced GTA VI during its current season, which has been presented under the title South America.
Previous episodes have treated the game’s arrival in November as a major event, making it part of a recurring joke about what people are waiting for. This latest episode takes that idea further by showing footage to the characters themselves.
The appearance also gives fans a memorable new talking point as Rockstar’s launch campaign continues.
When does GTA VI release?
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
With the release now only weeks away, players have seen trailers, screenshots and developer previews showing different sides of Leonida. Thanks to South Park, they have also seen one of its less glamorous beach encounters.
What did you think of the South Park gameplay clip? Are you excited to see how much of Leonida players can interact with when GTA VI launches?
